Die Wet-Plate Story von Pullman City<\/a><\/h4>\n

Angeheuert und eingef\u00fchrt in die Stadt wurden wir von der 7th Gerogia, einem historischen Verein. (cs-cavalry<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Am Donerstag - Ferrotypien (Fotoplatten) herstellen<\/p>\n

Am Freitag - packen, packen, packen...<\/p>\n

Am Samstag - Abreise 4 Stunden Fahrt, einchecken und aufbauen.<\/p>\n

Das Interesse an unserer Arbeit war hoch, irgendjemand sagte: \"Eigentlich macht ihr hier das einzig Originale aus dieser Zeit.\" Das tat gut! Ein paar tolle Bilder entstanden bis es um 18 Uhr zu d\u00fcster war.<\/p>\n

Am Abend ein Besuch im Saloon, ein paar Pl\u00e4uschen im sogenannten \"Authentic-Bereich\", danach bleierne M\u00fcdigkeit.
Tja, was dann kam war kom\u00f6dienreif:
Wir waren in einer winzigen Blockh\u00fctte mit weiteren 4 Personen untergebracht. Nicht weiter schlimm oder? DOCH! Alle Insassen schienen professionelle Schnarcher zu sein. So gegen 1Uhr nachts erhob sich das Ger\u00f6chle und Gest\u00f6hne zu einer au\u00dferirdisch anmutenden Synfonie. Nun, diese Musikrichtung traf nicht so sehr meinen Geschmack an \"gute Nacht-Musik\". Also beschloss ich mich wieder anzukleiden und den Konzertsaal zu verlassen. Im Kofferraum unseres Autos suchte ich Zuflucht vor b\u00f6sen Stimmen. Nach mehrst\u00fcndigen Hin- und Herw\u00e4lzen auf kaltem Blech fiel ich endlich in eine Art ersch\u00f6pften Schlummer, bis... ein mehrstimmiges Grunzen riss mich in den Wachzustand zur\u00fcck. Auf so einem n\u00e4chtlichen Parkplatz ist doch einiges geboten: Rings um mich herum - Schnarcher in Blechb\u00fcchsen. Metallisch klingendes Get\u00f6nse schlimmster Folgen \u00fcbler Betrunkenheit... Schlaf Ade!<\/p>\n

Am Sonntagmorgen - Dunkelkammer aufbauen mit dunklem, \u00fcberaus m\u00fcdem Hirn im faltigen schlafberaubten Sch\u00e4del. Ist das der wilde Westen?
Es war wie am Tag zuvor: Echtes Interesse von den \"authentic people\", super Fotos. Nun machte das Leben wieder Spa\u00df. Wir durften Bekanntschaft mit Jack Wheeler<\/a> schlie\u00dfen, einem Musiker und Schauspieler aus Tombstone, Arizona - vielleicht ergibt sich ein Engagement in USA f\u00fcr uns!!?? Yippie Yeah, oder so...<\/p>\n

Das war alles ganz gut soweit. Dann ging es ans Zusammenpacken und Einladen. Wir waren zwar ziemlich ersch\u00f6pft, aber guter Dinge und dem Gef\u00fchl die ganze Aktion erfolgreich durchgezogen zu haben. Nicht einmal der Diebstahl unserer Reisetasche w\u00e4hrend wir am Einpacken waren, konnte uns die Suppe versalzen.<\/p>\n

Vielen tausend Dank an all die netten Leute, die Interesse an unserer Arbeit hatten!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ein bisschen Stichelei am Ende:<\/p>\n

Immerhin haben wir statt einem Dauerengagement in der Westernstadt erreicht, dass der ortsans\u00e4ssige Fotograf sich \u00fcberlegt ob er eine Digitalkamera in einer Holzkamera verstecken soll und so \"originale Photoshop Tintypes auf Papier und Pixelm\u00fcll\" verkaufen soll. DAS ist der wilde (Vollpfosten) Westen!<\/p>\n
